Parkland School Directors OK 4 New Hires
Parkland School Directors also approved lists of professional, support, maintenance, transportation and food service substitute personnel.
The Parkland School District approved the following personnel moves at its Tuesday night meeting:
Hires:
Karen B. Dopera, Allentown, PA, as Principal of the Schnecksville Elementary School, effective date to be determined, at an annual salary of $97,000, prorated. Ms. Dopera is recommended to replace William Bowen who resigned.
Kelly Ziegenfus, Allentown, PA, as a DRP/Title I aide at Fred J. Jaindl Elementary School, effective September 23, 2013, at an hourly rate of $16.50, to replace Gemma Neville who moved to another position.
Kelsi E. Page, Emmaus, PA, as a DRP/Title I aide at Cetronia Elementary School, effective September 23, 2013, at an hourly rate of $16.50, to replace Jennifer Gerardi who resigned.
Barbara A. Ansfree, Fogelsville, PA, as a playground aide at Fogelsville Elementary School, effective September 30, 2013, at an hourly rate of $14.02, to replace Amy Feyrer who moved to another position.
Change of Status:
Gemma Neville, from DRP/Title I aide to teaching assistant at Fred J. Jaindl Elementary School, effective September 13, 2013, at an annual salary of $25,334, prorated, due to increased enrollment.
