Fired Employee Threw Stapler at Boss, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police said Eduardo Torres allegedly threw a stapler at his boss, damaging a wall, after being fired from his job. Torres faces disorderly conduct charges.

An Allentown man, angered that he was fired from his job at the Home Depot Distribution Center in Breinigsville, was charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing a stapler at his former boss, according to Upper Macungie Police.

Police said Eduardo Torres became angry after being dismissed from his job at approximately 5:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

Police said Torres allegedly threw a stapler at the boss' head. The stapler missed its target, but damaged a nearby wall.

Police said Torres was escorted off the property prior to their arrival. Police said disorderly conduct charges were filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner's office.
