Man Stole, Pawned Mom's Wedding Ring, Police Say
Eric Schwartz accused of stealing wedding, engagement rings from his mother last month.
Upper Macungie Police say an Allentown man stole his mother's wedding and engagement rings and pawned them.
Eric Schwartz, 38, has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
The Morning Call says Schwartz stole the rings from his mother, Anna.
Police say the theft was reported Sept. 17 at Anna Schwartz's home on Bent Pine Hill. According to police, investigators determined Schwartz sold the rings at an Allentown pawn shop.
