$200 Worth of Copper Wires Stolen from Verizon Tower

Upper Macungie Police say copper wires were stolen from the Verizon Wireless cell tower on Ruppsville Road.

Upper Macungie Police are investigating a theft of $200 worth of copper wires from a Verizon cell phone tower took place sometime between June 22 and Tuesday.

The Verizon tower is located at 6729 Ruppsville Road.

Last week, Police Chief Edgardo Colon said thefts of copper wires and piping from local homes and businesses has been problematic.
