When they arrived, they found Campbell, of 1327 Chew St., and Anesha Byron, 35, sitting in a running 2006 Mercury Mountaineer. Byron was crying. She had been stabbed in the abdomen, police said.

According to the arrest affidavit, Byron told police the two had been arguing because she wanted Campbell to take her home and he refused. They had pulled over in the car, police said, and Campbell stabbed Byron with a folding knife. Police said they found the knife in the arm rest of the driver's side door.
