Da Vinci Science Center
The Da Vinci Science Center (DSC) is an independent nonprofit organization and has inspired enthusiasm for science’s ExSCIting Possibilities, careers, and presence throughout people’s lives since 1992. Da Vinci Science Center experiences include a two-story exhibit floor with more than 100 exhibits; nearly three-dozen programs for visitors of all ages, students, educators, and community groups; and strategic regional workforce initiatives. These initiatives – including the Year of the Human Body project with St. Luke’s University Health Network from Sept. 2012-Sept. 2013 – integrate limited-engagement exhibit experiences with community programs highlighting workforce development opportunities and needs. The Center also promotes curiosity, creativity, and imagination – qualities realized by Leonardo da Vinci and the transformative innovators who have succeeded him.
