Man Killed in Four-Car Crash on Route 22, Road Closed For Hours Early Friday Morning
A driver going too fast near the active construction site on Route 22 West, near the Route 145 interchange, hit the rear of another car, causing a chain reaction.
Update 8 p.m. Lehigh Valley Live reports the Lehigh County Coroner identified the victim as, William Wilson III, 24, of the 400 block of N. Main Street in the Stewartsville section of Greenwich Township. There is a video of firefighters at the scene of the accident this morning filmed by NVP - a Freelance Photography based company based in Whitehall. Update 11:30 a.m. The Lehigh County Coroner's office reports the cause of death is attributed to blunt force trauma and ruled his death an accident. The victim's name will be released upon notification of next of kin.
