What Goes Here? Fogelsville Weis Shopping Center

A multi-use retail space, a bank and a restaurant has been proposed by developers. What would you like to see in these spaces?

Last week, developers proposed a multi-use retail space, a bank and a restaurant to compliment the recently built Weis supermarket on Route 100 in Fogelsville. But, the burning question is what types of stores would you like to see to compliment your shopping experience along the Route 100 corridor. Upper Macungie Patch reported in December that a popular Schuylkill County restaurant that was damaged by fire in June is considering a move to Upper Macungie in 2013 and sought a liquor license transfer to 7801 Glenlivet Drive. Our question is: what type of stores and businesses would residents like to see in the proposed multi-use retail space, bank and restaurant that's coming soon. Please tell us in the comments.

The former King George Inn, a landmark in neighborhing South Whitehall that shuttered in August, is on the real estate market. Agreed! I am embarrassed when people ask me how to get from green hills to Tilghman and need to route them through the motel hell hole. The property itself has got to be worth a fortune due to the huge volume of traffic for a business, this must be attractive ....minus the bookstore and MO.......TEL !!!   more ›
