Macungie 'Bonnie & Clyde' Jailed After Carjackings, 100-mph Chase, Police Say

LOWER MACUNGIE, PA -- A local couple called a 'junkie' version of Bonnie and Clyde by police has been jailed, slapped with a slew of charges from two car-jackings and 100-mph police chase through Camden and Philadelphia that left a cop with a broken leg, authorities say. Shayna Sykes, 24, and Blake Bills, 23, allegedly committed the "ultimate botched drug run," according to Philly.com, which reports Sykes knows the Philadelphia area from working one summer at a popular bar in the Northern Liberties section. The couple has a 7-month-old child, pictued on Sykes' Facebook page. The saga began last Friday when Sykes borrowed a black Mazda Protege from her grandmother, Sharon, in Macungie, police said.
