Rep. Mike Turzai stands by controversial Pa. Voter ID law
House Majority Leader Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny County) iissued a statement in response to today’s Commonwealth Court decision on the voter identification law. Turzai is closely linked to the Voter ID controversy because of his comment that the new law would help Gov. Mitt Romney win Pennsylvania. @Ronnie- you seem to have missed my point. Joe Biden may be lack grace, but I can't recall him ever openly endorsing legislation aimed at suppressing republican voting in an effort to get Obama to win PA, or any other state for that matter, and then put out a public statement regarding said legislation.   more ›
