A new gasoline station could be coming to Fogelsville in the near future, courtesy of Weis Markets. The Sunbury-based company is scheduled to appear before the Upper Macungie Zoning Hearing Board on March 13 to ask for a variance allowing construction of a “Gas-N-Go” fuel station in conjunction with the existing Weis Market store. The property is located at northwest corner of the intersection of Route 100 and Glenlivet Drive West. It isn't the first retail space planned for the new complex. Construction on three retail establishments -- a multi-unit retail building, a bank and a restaurant -- could begin as early as this summer if submitted plans are accepted later this year by the Upper Macungie Planning Commission.
