Route 100 was the scene of a fatal accident early on January 2
A 28-year-old woman from Kempton was killed early Wednesday in a crash on Route 100 north of George Road in Lowhill Township, according to the Lehigh County coroner. Alisha M. Heilman, 28, was pronounced dead at 4:56 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Heilman's vehicle collided with a pickup truck at about 4:13 a.m. State police from the Fogelsville barracks are investigating.

Two teenagers were killed early Saturday and two others injured including a Lower Macungie girl
A car slammed into a utility pole on Race Street in Catasauqua early Saturday killing two teenagers and injuring two including Paige Esterly of Pine Grove Circle in Lower Macungie Township, according to a Lehigh Valley Live report. Esterly, 17, was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill for treatment. The teens killed were, according to a Lehigh County coroner's report: They died as a result of blunt force trauma around 6:15 a.m., the coroner said. The Catasauqua police department is investigating. Police believe speed was a factor in the crash, according to a WFMZ report. Also, alcohol bottles were found at the scene.

Two pedestrians were killed when Caitlyn Clark, 26, of Nazareth lost control of her SUV Monday afternoon and crashed into a LANTA bus stop in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
A Nazareth woman was behind the wheel of a sport-utility vehicle that careened into a bus stop -- killing two pedestrians -- in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Angel Bosch, 28, of Easton, died at a hospital after the 3:26 p.m. crash near the Lehigh Valley International Airport, according to a report in The Express-Times. Elias Tabarani, 51, of Allentown, was pronounced dead at the scene. Karen Beahn, 66, of Orefield was killed Sunday when her car hit a tree on Shankweiler Road around 5:30 p.m. in North Whitehall Township, according to a Morning Call report. State police from the Bethlehem barracks are investigating the accident, which caused multiple traumatic injuries that were fatal to Beahn.
