Wall of Honor to Add Seven Parkland Alums
Former NFL player Greg DeLong and retired Coast Guard Admiral David W. Kunkel will be among the seven Parkland School District alumni to be feted May 6 in Fogelsville.
A former NFL player, a retired Coast Guard admiral and business leaders are among the seven alumni to be inducted this year into the Parkland School District Education Foundation's Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor. The Wall of Honor was established last year and is inside the main entrance of Parkland High School. Those chosen to be inducted serve as an inspiration to students to achieve excellence and remind the community of Parkland’s commitment to a quality educational program, foundation officials said. Inductees will be honored at the foundation's second annual Annual Gala & Silent Auction on Monday, May 6, at the Holiday Inn Conference Center Lehigh Valley in Fogelsville.
