Who Has $371,000 Lottery Ticket Sold in Orefield?

Lottery officials are waiting for the owner of a winning Cash 5 lottery ticket sold in Lehigh County to claim his/her prize.

The owner of a Cash 5 ticket worth more than $371,000 from the Feb. 22 drawing sold at Hess, 3640 Route 309, Orefield, hasn't claimed his/her prize yet, lottery officials told Patch on Thursday. It sometimes takes a few weeks for the winner to come forward, they said. The ticket correctly matched all five balls, 02-17-23-24-36, to win a jackpot of $371,418.50, less 25 percent federal withholding. The Hess store will receive a $500 bonus for selling a winning ticket. A Cash 5 ticket worth $225,000 from the Feb. 24 drawing was sold at Hess, 4002 Chestnut St., Emmaus. It correctly matched all five balls, 06-12-14-15-26, to win a jackpot of $225,000, less 25 percent federal withholding. There's no word yet on who that winner is. Cash 5 winners…

$1M Winning Cash 5 Sold at Trexlertown Top Star

The Trexlertown gas station and convenience store sold the $1 million winning Cash 5 ticket for Monday night's drawing.

A winning Pennsylvania Cash 5 lottery ticket was sold at the Trexlertown Top Star Monday, making someone in the area a millionaire. The Cash 5 ticket correctly matched all five balls (02-13-20-41-42) in Monday night's drawing, according to www.palottery.com Employees at the Top Star store wouldn't comment on the winning ticket, citing store policy even though the store receives a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ducat. There wasn't even a sign on the lottery machine proclaiming the store sold a million-dollar winner. Top Star customers were surprised by the story of a big win at the location. I am glad it was at the top star, that has to be the friendliest store. BEST place for fresh hot coffee, always clean, this place sparkles and so does Gloria. I really hope it was Gloria who sold the ticket, she is an asset to the store.   more ›
