"Batman" in Lehigh Valley Goes On Despite Denver Shooting

"The Dark Knight Rises" will continue to be shown at theaters across the Lehigh Valley following a mass shooting near Denver early Friday.

Fans of Batman and summer blockbusters can still see "The Dark Knight Rises" at theaters across the Lehigh Valley despite a mass shooting at a midnight showing of the movie near Denver. A 24-year-old gunman killed 12 and wounded 59 early Friday in the Denver suburb of Aurora, Colo. Locally, shows are continuing as originally scheduled, albeit under tighter security in at least one case. Rave Theater at Promenade, Center Valley Staff at the Rave Theater complex, the Valley's only IMAX theater, will search bags and backpacks before patrons enter the ticketing area. People can't enter Rave via emergency exits from the outside. The doors have no exterior handles. The Denver shooter may have entered the Colorado theater through an emergency …
