Upper Macungie Police are investigating the theft of several items from a Breinigsville garage, including a generator and hand tools. Police said someone broke into the garage at 10092 Terry Hill Drive and took the items Wednesday between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. Police are still investigating the incident.

Thomas J. Patton, 21, of Allentown, has been in Lehigh County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail since he allegedly assaulted two Upper Macungie police officers responding to a call of a disturbance at 393 Natalie Drive in the township. A 21-year-old Lehigh County resident is among 11 women arrested in a prostitution sting at an Allentown strip club, according to the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement. Alisha M. Litzenberger, of 4198 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, is charged with promoting prostitution after allegedly arranging for undercover officers to meet with 10 other women in a private room of Platinum Plus, 1251 Airport Road, where they brokered sex acts, including oral sex, in exchange for money, according to police. Upper Macungie Police are looking for a man they say stole approximately 30 wooden pallets from the Tractor Supply Co. store at 7450 Hamilton Blvd. in Trexlertown. Police said a man in his 30s took the pallets at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday. Police said the man left the Tractor Supply store in a two-tone 1980s Ford or Dodge pickup. Police described the truck as having a red top and bottom with silver or white on the side panels. Police are investigating the theft and ask anyone with information to contact them at 484-661-5911.

An Allentown man is in Lehigh County Prison on charges he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and sent threatening text messages to her brother, according to Upper Macungie Police. Police said 19-year-old Joshua Carrasco was being held on several charges after allegedly assaulting his 21-year-old girlfriend who lives in Upper Macungie on several occasions earlier this week. Police said Carrasco sent threatening text messages to the girlfriend's brother, also of Upper Macungie. Police said Carrasco is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and harassment by communication. Carrasco was arraigned by District Judge Karen Devine and was being held in Lehigh County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Upper Macungie Police say two workers at the Tree of Life warehouse in Breinigsville got into a fight early Tuesday. Simple assault and harassment charges were pending against one of them.

Upper Macungie Police said two workers at the Tree of Life warehouse in Breinigsville got into a fight early Tuesday, and simple assault and harassment charges were pending against one of them. Police said a verbal argument turned physical about 1:07 a.m. between Nathaniel Smalls, 47, of Allentown and a 27-year-old man. Police said simple assault and harassment charges will be filed against Smalls.

A motocross motorcyle was stolen from a Breinigsville garage either Saturday night or in the early morning hours of Sunday, according to Upper Macungie Police. Police said someone entered a garage at 10026 Deitrich Road in Breinigsville sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday and stole the motorcycle. Police said the motorcyle was a red, white and blue 2002 Honda with Lucas Oil logos and the number 392 on the front and side. Police are investigating the incident.

Upper Macungie Police Chief Edgardo Colon tells supervisors he's seen no major patterns of crime across the township.
Upper Macungie Police Chief Edgardo Colon told Upper Macungie Supervisors recently that no major patterns of crime have been seen throughout the township. Colon pointed out the culmination of a lengthy investigation by Upper Macungie detectives into the practices of Macungie contractor Kevin W. Drake, who allegedly took money for home improvement projects that he never finished to the tune of $123,000.
