If I could put 10 negative stars I would. AAA sent me Getz towing after my daughters car accident. I have AAA plus which means they are to tow it to any garage within 100 miles. I wanted it towed to my son's garage 35 miles away. The tow truck driver told me no because it was leaking gas and too far for safe conditions and would have to go to their garage at $40 per day. After 15 days and the insurance company is done with the car and agreed to pay the storage fee Getz's tried to rebill the insurance company $185 for the tow. I had to argue that I could get police report and AAA to prove AAA towed it. Then they wouldn't give me the car until the insurance company mailed check which would add 2 more storage days. The insurance company never delt with a garage that wouldn't give up the car knowing the insurance company was sending the check. So I agreed to pay the bill to get the car back. I went in with my credit card and was told there would be a $25 charge for using the credit card. So my mother wrote a check. I had to pay a tow company to tow it to the original garage. I asked if they would be giving my tow guy a hard time they told me I was the only one giving anyone a hard time. Moral of this story DO NOT LET GETZ'S GET A HOLD OF YOUR CAR. It seems to me they are preying on accident victims.

Getz replaced my car battery and then unknown to me proceeded to run the charge through my credit card twice. When I became aware of the duplicate charge I notified my credit card provider. Astoundingly, Getz then compounded the problem by insisting that the two identical charges of which I only signed one invoice were correct. Their actions tell me all I need to know about hoe they conduct their business.
