Parkland Trojans face the Whitehall Zephyrs Friday night, in a second round Quad-A sub-regional playoff game. Parkland and Whitehall—the co-champions of the Lehigh Valley Conference—are both 10-1. The game is 7 p.m. Friday at Whitehall's Zephyr Stadium.

- Parkland Youth Wrestling is holding a breakfast fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown. Tickets are $7.50 a person, and they will be available at the door.
- Celebrate the season this weekend with wine and chocolates at Clover Hills Vineyards and Winery, 9850 Newtown Road, Breinigsville. The winery is marking the first release of its 2013 grape harvest. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday; an noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
- A basket social is planned for Friday night at Jordan United Church of Christ in South Whitehall. Preview baskets beginning at 5:30 p.m. Winners will be selected at 7 p.m.
- Collect your supplies from nature and learn to make a natural wreath for the holidays. Join the Wildlands Conservancy in Lower Macungie and guests from the 183 House from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Cost is $5.
- The State Theatre hosts two shows this weekend: Chip Davis' Manheim Steamroller Christmas Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Broadway Rox Sunday at 3 p.m.
