School Plays, Trick or Treat This Weekend

A look at what's happening in Upper Macungie this weekend.

The weekend is almost upon us, so let's take a look at what's happening Friday night through Sunday in and around Upper Macungie.

  1. Parkland's Middle Schools present their school plays—Robin Hood at Orefield, Dr. Doolittle at Springhouse. Both plays take the stage Friday at 8 p.m., while Springhouse does an additional performance Saturday at 2 p.m. Orefield will have a second show Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5.
  2. Upper Macungie's trick-or-treat night is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening.
  3. Faith Church at 6528 Hamilton Blvd. presents its Kandy Kingdom, "an afternoon of cider, donuts, games, crafts, and of course...lots of candy!" Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  4. On a similar note: Asbury United Methodist Church holds a "trunk or treat" event Satuday at 6 p.m.
  5. The Iron Lakes Country Club holds a masquerade gala to raise money for the MS Society, Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $50. To order, call 610-697-1351.
