Parkland/Emmaus Game, Ghost Hunting This Weekend

A look at what's happening this weekend in and around Upper Macungie.

Hello everyone. We're halfway through the work week, so it's time to see what's happening this weekend in and around Upper Macungie.

  • Parkland High School's Trojans take on Emmaus Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Orefield Middle School.
  • Learn about ghost hunting from the Ghost Hunters 
    Incorporated paranormal investigative team
    Saturday evening at 7 p.m. at the Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society Museum, 407 Franklin Street, Alburtis. This is a free event, but not recommended for kids under 12 unless they have parental accompaniment. 
  • Parkland Library's new book group for adults will discuss The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Saturday at 2 p.m.
  • Feel like taking a hike at night? You can do that Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus. $3 gets you in for the hike, stories around the campfire, hot chocolate and s'mores. Bring a flashlight or headlamp.
