Budget Meeting, Healthy Eating This Week in Upper Macungie

Good morning everyone. We're at the start of a new week, so let's see what's happening over the next few weeks in Upper Macungie.

1. Upper Macungie's Board of Supervisors will meet Friday at 3 p.m. to revisit the 2014 budget.

2. Are you a fan of the novel The Night Circus? The Parkland Community Library's Book Quest group will be discussing it Wednesday at 7 p.m.

3. Also at the library this week: learn 10 Keys to Healthy Eating from Christina Moyes of One Body Wellness Thursday at 6 p.m. (RSVPs required)

4. One more from the library: Writers Unite, the group for aspiring authors, meets Thursday at 7 p.m.

5. Parkland's Community Advisory Council meets Thursday at 7 p.m. at the administration building. School officials will update the public on this year's budget.
