Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery Offer Valentine's Day Fun

According to Roman mythology, Cupid was the son of Venus, the goddess of love and beauty.  Cupid has been known to cause people to fall in love by shooting them with his magical arrows.  Well just incase you are not willing to bank on one of those arrows helping you this Valentine’s Day it is lucky for you love is in the air at Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery.  We have a number of suggestions to help you set your plot of love in motion. 

At the winery in Breinigsville on Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15, from 12 to 5pm both days, we will be offering free samples of wine filled chocolates.  We will have a dark chocolate bonbon filled with our Turtle Rock Red wine and a milk chocolate bonbon filled with Concord.  Simple Chocolates will have their sweets available for purchase and naturally we will have the wine for purchase.  Wine and chocolate in one bonbon . . . how sweet it is!

At our Robesonia location on Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16, from 12 to 5pm both days, we will tempt your sweet tooth with a chocolate peanut butter mousse, from Premise Maid Candies, paired with Clover Hill’s Concord.  Now that is an adult version of peanut butter and jelly - yummm!  This is a Berks County Wine Trail event with free tasting of the candies and wine and both will be available for purchase. 

If chocolate is not your “special somebody’s thing” Clover Hill offers a huge variety of wine related merchandise that would make lovely Valentine’s gifts.  Plus, naturally we have a large variety of wines to sample and our experienced staff will help you pick a wine to your liking.  Let me make one suggestion regarding a wine – have you tried our newest release, our Passion Fruit Vidal?  It is made in a sweet dessert style wine and has sweet tropical fruit flavors that will transport your love to a far-off tropical place and you might even feel sea breezes with just one sip.
