Glutes!!!

Personal Trainer Amy Wimer offers tips about getting your legs and back view in shape through offering exercise suggestions and a video link demo for beginners.

If you know me, see me train people, or are a client, you already know that
I love many variations of squats, step-ups, and lunges for training the legs and
GLUTES.

Here are a few of my other favorite glute exercises!
Jump squats
Box jumps
Curtesy lunges
Single leg squats
Weighted glute bridge with feet on bosu
Standing low cable glute kick back

A few tips:
1.) Make sure to utilize the full range of motion. If you are only going 1/2
way down on your squats and lunges you will not recruit your glutes.

2.) While squatting think about keeping your heels on the ground and pushing
through them as you work your glutes.

3.) Try the Butts N Guts class offered at Steel Fitness Riverport held at 11:45
on Wednesday. I promise you'll love it!!!

Here is a great beginner link for basic info on form of squats, step-ups and lunges.
