Parkland Victorious in First Round of Playoffs
Parkland's football team beat Stroudsburg's Mounties, 38-10.
Parkland beat Stroudsburg High School, 38-10, Friday night in the first round of the PIAA Class 4A, District 2-4-11 championships.
Nazareth's Blue Eagles won the Lehigh Valley Conference title and beat Delaware Valley in its District game last night. That sets up a re-match between the Trojans and Blue Eagles next week.
The Trojans are 9-2 for the season and Nazareth is 10-1. But Parkland gave Nazareth its only loss, beating them 47-20 in the regular season.
