UPDATE: Parkland Athletes Win District 11 Titles

Mike Ottinger and Tarik Haddad take 3A wrestling crowns while divers again sweep medal stand. Girls hoops teams faces Nazareth Tuesday night.

Parkland High School athletes distinguished themselves Saturday in District 11 competition.

Senior Mike Ottinger (160) pounds successfully defended his D-11 individual title by defeated Nazareth's Ryan Krecker in an ultimate tiebreaker Saturday night at Liberty High School and was named co-winner of the Most Outstanding Wrestler award, according to published reports.

Ottinger that defending his D-11 crown and winning a state title were high on his list of priorities.

Elsewhere, senior Tarik Haddad (215) won an individual crown by defeating Easton's Tyler Greene, 5-3, according to published reports.

Meanwhile, Parkland boys divers -- Greg Kemper, Jacob Lenhart and Mark Idleman, swept medal stand at the D-11 diving meet Saturday at Emmaus High School, according to published reports.

The trio after sweeping the Lehigh Valley Conference diving meet.

Finally, the Parkland girls basketball team will at Dieruff High School at 7:30 p.m.
