What to Do With Your Old Electronics

Parkland High School's GEO Club will hold an electronics recycling drive on Feb. 9.

 

If you got a new computer or TV for the holidays, chances are you are trying to figure out what to do with your old equipment.

Parkland High School's GEO Club will be holding an electronic recycling drive from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 9 at the Parkland High School parking lot.

The GEO will collect "pretty much anything" with a plug but not batteries or other items with toxic or regulated substances such as refrigerators with freon.

Last year's event was so popular that some people had to wait in line 90 minutes to recycle their old electronics.
