UPDATE: Six Parkland H.S. Teams Alive In District 11 Play

Baseball, softball, girls and boys lacrosse, boys volleyball and girls soccer squads all are in postseason events.

Six Parkland High School sports team are alive in various facets of District 11 postseason play in search of titles. Tournaments resume today and, weather permitting, will last throughout the week.

Here are the Parkland teams participating in D-11 play and their schedules:

Baseball: (UPDATE: Today's baseball scheduled baseball game has been moved to Wednesday). The Parkland baseball team garnered the top seed in D-11 4A following its Saturday. The Trojans host the winner of Monday's Easton-Pocono Mountain East game this afternoon at 4 p.m. in a quarterfinal game.

Girls Soccer: The 10th seed in the combined D-11 3A/2A tourney, Parkland has upset several teams and now faces sixth-seeded Northwestern in a semifinal game at Whitehall High School. The championship game is set for Thursday night at Whitehall.

Volleyball: The Parkland boys volleyball team, the second seed in D-11 3A, will face third-seeded Whitehall tonight at 7 p.m. at Liberty High School in the semi-final round. The championship match is Thursday at 6 p.m. at Liberty High School.

Boys Lacrosse:  The third-seeded Trojan boys lacrosse team takes on second-seeded Allentown Central Catholic Wednesday in a D-11 3A semi-final round game at J. Birney Crum Stadium at 7 p.m. The championship game is Friday at 7 p.m. at Emmaus High School.

Girls Lacrosse: Fourth-seeded Parkland meets top-seeded Emmaus at Emmaus High School in a D-11 3A semi-final game Wednesday at 5 p.m. The championship game is set for 5:30 p.m. Friday at Emmaus.

Softball:  The Parkland girls softball team, fourth-seeded in D-11 4A, will host the winner of Tuesday's Northampton-Pocono Mountain East game on Thursday in a quarterfinal round game.
