Parkland 'Wall of Honor' Needs Nominees

Parkland seeks nominees for its 2014 Wall of Honor.

The Parkland School District Education Foundation is looking for nominees for the 2014 Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor.

Established in 2011, the wall recognizes notable alumni who can serve as inspiration to current students.

Past inductees include actress Michaela Conlin on FOX's Bones, Jaindl Farms president David Jaindl, opera singer Patricia Risley and Bausch + Lomb president and CEO Brent Saunders.

Nominees need to be 25 years old, and show at least one of the following criteria:

  • Outstanding accomplishments in his or her chosen field
  • Dedicated commitment to his or her community
  • Acts of service
  • A positive impact on people
  • Recognition (locally or world-wide)
  • Contribution to Humanity
  • Other factors determined relevant by the selection committee
