's Education and Athletic Committee discussed a plan Tuesday to sell advertising signage at its home football, basketball and baseball facilities.
The plan may turn out as controversial as the one earlier this year that allowed

said the district has been in talks with local Allstate Insurance Co. agencies about putting advertising signage up on the school's football field, basketball court and baseball field, as well as in its printed programs.
"There's a huge amount of square footage out there," Geisel said. "It conforms with our policy. We need to see what the value of the Parkland brand is."
Sniscak said the ads must conform to the specifications set forth by the district.
"Who knows what we can generate. We can offset some of the money for game officials or an adviser," he said.
Geisel pointed out the program doesn't have to start during the 2012 football season and that it could begin during the 2013 basketball or baseball seasons.
Geisel also pointed out there is room for eight ads on the football field, five ads in the gymnasium and the entire outfield wall on the baseball field.
