Parkland Takes Second in District 11 Championship
Pocono Mountain West beat the Trojans 57-53 for the District 11 4A championship.
After a tenacious season, the Trojans lost to Pocono Mountain West Saturday in the District 11 final.
During the season, Parkland, ranked No. 5 in the league, beat No. 1 Emmaus, twice. That got the Trojans to the championship as underdogs. They faced No. 2 Pocono Mountain West.
And the Panthers had to fight to win, squeaking out a 57-53 victory.
