Parkland Tabs Robert Robitaille As Boys and Girls Swim Coach

He replaces Erik Posegay, who resigned following last season.

The Parkland School Board tabbed former assistant Robert Robitaille as the new Parkland High School varsity boys and girls swimming and diving coach Tuesday night.

Robitaille replaces Erik Posegay who resigned earlier this year.

Robitaille has served as an assistant coach and science teacher during his five years at Parkland High School.

“Rob embodies all of the virtues we look for in a teacher and coach. He handles success and adversity in a level-tempered manner and is dedicated to providing the best educational and participation experiences for both our students and swimmers,” Parkland Athletic Director Jeff Geisel said.

Robitaille earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Bloomsburg University where he swam and was the Water Polo Club president.

He has coached at the club level as well as served as an assistant swim coach in the North Schuylkill School District.
