Parkland School Board Set to Welcome New Member

Parkland School Board will hold its reorganization meeting Tuesday night.

Last month, the Parkland School Board said goodbye to Jayne R. Bartlett, who chose not to seek re-election after 12 years.

On Tuesday night, it will welcome her replacement.

David J. Hein, who won a four-year-term last month, will be sworn in at Tuesday's reorganization meeting.

The board will also swear in incumbents Robert Cohen, Mark Hanichak and Barry Long, and pick new officers.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. at the district office on Springhouse Road, followed by a regular board meeting at 7 p.m.
