The following personnel changes were among those approved by the Parkland School Board at its Tuesday meeting.

 

The Parkland School Board approved the following personnel changes at its Tuesday meeting:

Recall of furloughed personnel

-- Suzanne H. Cuff, of Allentown, as a part-time custodian at Cetronia Elementary School, at an hourly rate of $16.37, effective Jan. 16, replacing Judith Harris, who retired.

-- Michael J. Roethlein, of Coplay, as a part-time custodian at Parkland High School, at an hourly rate of $16.37, effective Jan. 16, replacing Kevin Traugher, who resigned.

Change of Status

-- Jaime L. Rhoads, second-grade teacher at Kernsville Elementary School, from short-term substitute to substitute for a temporary vacancy, at an annual salary of $48,671, prorated, effective Jan. 15. Rhoads will temporarily replace Carolyn Ulrich, who is on a leave of absence.

-- Jamin S. Sell, from substitute school bus driver to full-day school bus driver, at the daily rate of $106.14, effective Jan. 3, replacing John Black, who retired. 

-- Brenda J. Deily, from substitute school bus driver to full-day school bus driver, at the daily rate of $106.14, effective Jan. 3, replacing Thomas Hartman.

-- Laszlo Toth, from substitute school bus driver to full-day school bus driver, at the daily rate of $106.14, effective Jan. 3, replacing James Corke, who retired.

The school board also approved 10 retirements and six hires.
