Parkland OKs 7 Hires, 2 Resignations

The Parkland School Board approved hires and accepted resignations at its most recent meeting.

The Parkland School Board, at its most recent meeting, approved the following personnel moves:

Resignations:

Carol J. Lasicki, DRP/Title I aide at Kratzer Elementary School, effective August 19, 2013.

Patricia Anderson, DRP/Title I aide at Fred J. Jaindl Elementary School, effective August 26, 2013.

Hires:

John E. Fegley, Emmaus, PA, as a history teacher at Parkland High School, effective August 27, 2013, at an annual salary of $49,921, prorated.  Mr. Fegley is recommended as a .5 substitute for a temporary vacancy to replace .5 of Denise O'Connell, who is on a childrearing leave of absence.

Matthew S. Rosendale, Wescosville, PA, as a history teacher at Parkland High School, effective August 27, 2013, at an annual salary of $49,921, prorated.  Mr. Rosendale is recommended as a .5 substitute for a temporary vacancy to replace .5 of Denise O'Connell, who is on a childrearing leave of absence.

John E. Fegley, as a .5 mentor for Matthew Rosendale at Parkland High School.

Heather E. Marano, Fogelsville, PA, as a part-time teaching assistant at Cetronia Elementary School, effective August 27, 2013, at an hourly rate of $17.79, to replace Stephanie Berger, who moved to another position. 
 
Jeannine M. Guerra, as a part-time teaching assistant at Cetronia Elementary School, effective August 27, 2013, at an hourly rate of $17.79, to replace Timarie Goodwin, who resigned.  

Mary-Rebecca L. Truchan, Bethlehem, PA, as a part-time teaching assistant at Fred J. Jaindl Elementary School, effective August 27, 2013, at an hourly rate of $17.79, to replace Dawn Snyder, who moved to another position.

Laura M. Querio, as a part-time food service employee at Schnecksville Elementary School, effective August 26, 2013, at an hourly rate of $14.28, to replace Kandy Lang, who moved to another position.
