Parkland Buys 10 Acres Near Orefield Middle School

The Parkland School Board approved the district's $185,000 purchase of land behind Orefield Middle School.

Parkland School District bought 10 acres behind Orefield Middle School for potential future development.

The school board approved the purchase of property at 2619 Stadium Drive for $185,000 at its Tuesday meeting.

The district might use the land to relocate the transportation and maintenance offices currently at the Troxell Building closer to where it houses 140 school buses at Orefield Middle School, the board said.
