Lehigh Carbon Community College will hold Emergency Medical Technician basic training courses this semester. The EMT basic course includes skill demonstrations, hands-on practical skill workshops, didactic presentation and practical experience provided by Lehigh Valley Hospital and the Pennsylvania State Certified EMT instructional team.
Participants need to submit a physician release form and provide proof of personal health insurance prior to admittance to the program. Forms are available at the college's website www.lccc.edu/publicsafety.
Classes meet at various locations in Allentown. The registration fee for each course is $550 for Allentown classees. The textbook cost is additional. The minimum age for taking the course is 16.
