Green Gardening Workshop and Native Plant Sale

This FREE event features Mike McGrath, host of the nationally syndicated radio show, "You Bet Your Garden." Mike Mike's keynote presentation, scheduled for 10:00 a.m., is titled, "How to Get Your Lawn Off Drugs."  Additional workshops will be offered by experts throughout the day and include: Seven Secrets of Successful Organic Gardeners; Using Native Plants to Attract Wildlife; Choosing the Right Native Plants for Your Landscape; Proper Planting of a Tree; and more.

The event also features vendors offering native and non-invasive plants for sale. The Community Center concession stand will be open for food and drinks.  This event is being hosted by the Lower Macungie Township Environmental Advisory Council and will be held rain or shine in the Lower Macungie Community Center (same building as the Lower Macungie Library) and is certain to educate and entertain.   Why not bring a neighbor and carpool?
