For the last two summers, she was employed with Fancy Pants Productions Incorporated, performing as a singer-dancer at Dorney Park, honing her skills with six shows a day, six days a week.

This last summer, she volunteered as a summer fellow with OFA (Organizing/ Obama for America) - she spent many hours, hitting the streets of Allentown, registering voters (in Spanish, most of the time) and encouraging volunteering opportunities.

In Parkland theatre, she was in Hello Dolly with the Freddy-nominated ensemble cast. Now, she is in Civic Theatre's Gypsy as a showgirl.   She is also in the Parkland Honors Chorale, a member of Performing Arts Club, International Thespian Society, and Political Science Club.

She also hopes to return to the Debate Team for a second year. She is also privileged with the honor of receiving the position of Student Representative on the Parkland School Board, representing more than 3,600 students from the elementary schools, middle schools, and the high school.

"I was incredibly interested in the position because I love learning. It is more than something to put [on a resume] down, but instead a bridge to connect the student body to the administration world. It's a big task, but I feel I am up to it," Jean said.
