400 Graduate from LCCC in 46th Commencement

Lehigh Carbon Community College held its 46th spring commencement Wednesday on its main campus in Schnecksville.

More than 400 students participated in Lehigh Carbon Community College's 46th spring commencement Wednesday, in two ceremonies in Berrier Hall on the main campus in Schnecksville.

Acting college president Dr. Ann Bieber presided.

In keeping with tradition, a student speaker was selected from nominations submitted by the graduating class and faculty members, according to a release from the college.

Business Administration major, Dollinda Linkhorst of Tamaqua, and Computer Information Systems major, Vanessa J. Meleski of Slatington, presented remarks.

According to the release, Linkhorst graduated with an Associate of Arts in business administration.  She completed her studies at LCCC with a cumulative grade point average of 3.82, earning magna cum laude high honors. 

Meleski graduated with an Associate of Science in computer information systems, the release said. She completed her studies at LCCC with a cumulative grade point average of 3.95, earning summa cum laude highest honors.
