Upper Macungie Seeks Police Officer Candidates

Written and agility tests are slated for Sept. 30, as the new department seeks staffing.

Qualified persons are sought to take competitive written and agility testing for the position of patrol officer in Upper Macungie Township.

An application form and explanation of the hiring process can be obtained at www.uppermac.org or in person at the municipal building.

A non-refundable fee of $45 is required.

Applications must be filed with Upper Macungie Township no later than Sept. 10.

The written and physical agility testing will be held on Sept. 30.

Applicants must be 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma and have completed Act 120 training.

The starting probationary salary is $51,000.
