Six Developers Face Township Planners Wednesday

Sharp Corp. and Dan's Auto Repair are among the returning developers to submit plans.

Sharp Corp. and Dan's Auto Repair are among six developers scheduled to submit, or re-submit plans to the Upper Macungie Township Planning Commission Wednesday night. 

The commission meets at 7 p.m. in the township municipal building.

Sharp Corp., which announced plans last year to expand its pharmaceutical packaging company and add jobs, will re-submit its land development plan for its 7451 Keebler Way location.

Dan's Auto Repair, located at 5204 Tilghman St., will also re-submit land development plans Wednesday night.

All of the gas tanks have been removed from the former Werley's Gulf site and gasoline won't be sold at the location, across from the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

In February, owners Daniel and Patricia Kuhns were granted a variance by the Upper Macungie Zoning Hearing Board for a front-yard setback in order to construct an addition.

Heather Glen/Heather Field for a preliminary land development plan at Blue Barn and Oakview roads.

The Lehigh County Authority for a revised plan to sub-divide a parcel of land at the intersection of Route 222 and Route 100.

Liberty at Mill Creek for intersection improvement sketches concerning a sub-division.
