A Concord, Mass. man after a three-car crash on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie in November had his scheduled Monday Lehigh County Court date continued until Oct. 15, according to Lehigh County Assistant District Attorney Renee Smith.
Erik Jenkinson, 27, escaped the three-car collision with minor injuries and was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and open lewdness.
State Police at Fogelsville, who investigated the accident, concluded Jenkinson was at the time of the incident.
Jenkinson waived his preliminary hearing in February and the lone matter changed during that hearing was the DUI charge now pertains to a controlled substance and not to alcohol.
