plans to break ground on a new two story 33,000 square foot car dealership on 4.2 acres adjacent to its current location at 7702 Penn Drive later this year.
The gave its positive recommendation Wednesday night during its agenda meeting. The proposal will now be forwarded to township supervisors for their blessing.
"This will be typical of the new car dealerships that you've seen in the Valley," said Paul Szewczak, a principal engineer at Liberty Engineering of Allentown.
Szewczak said the new dealership, which ground will be broken on early next year, will include an 18-bay service area, service writing area, customer lounge, parts area, executive offices and training offices.
"It will be a substantial change," Szewczak said.
The site access will be from Penn Drive and provide 227 parking spaces.
The existing Krause Toyota building will be put up for sale, Szewczak told planners.
