Moyer's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Army Achievement Medal and the Combat Action Badge.

The new army center is at 4325 Braden Blvd. East and will replace the Wilson-Kramer Army Reserve Center near Bethlehem.

The new center will cost $12.9 million and sits on 9 acres that features a 40,000-square-foot training facility, a 5,100-square-foot organizational maintenance shop, and a 1,400-square-foot unheated storage building.

The center will house 200 soldiers from the Army Reserve's 744th Military Police Battalion and 130th Chemical Company.
