Here's Who's Running In Township, Parkland School District And District Judge Races

Two candidates will compete for Upper Macungie supervisor seat. Five incumbents seek re-election to the Parkland School Board and three hopefuls are vying for an open District Judge seat.

Incumbent will be challenged by  for a seat on the Upper Macungie Township Board of Supervisors while five incumbents and one newcomer are running for seats on the Parkland School Board in the May 17 primary election.

In addition, three candidates filed petitions to run for an open magisterial

Candidates had until 4 p.m. Tuesday to file petitions with the Election Board of Lehigh County.

The following incumbents filed petitions for re-election to five seats on the Parkland School Board. Four have cross-filed, which means they will be on both the Democratic and Republican ballots. They are:

* Lisa A. Adams

* Robert E. Bold, former board president.

* David M. Kennedy and;

* Roberta M. Marcus

Debra Young Evans did not cross-file and is running on the Democratic ticket.

On the Republican side, Roy Jef Reyburn will challenge the incumbents for a seat on the school board.

Three hopefuls are vying to fill the seat of retiring District Judge Charles Crawford.

They are Alburtis Borough Council member , Lower Macungie resident and Lower Macungie resident Ronald Clever. 

District 31-3-02 serves the communities of Alburtis Township, Upper Macungie Township, Lower Macungie Township, Lowhill Township and Weisenberg Township.

Voters in Upper Macungie's 4th District should note that their polling place has changed and is now located at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd., Breinigsville.
