Goddard School, Dan's Auto Postpone Planners Appearance

The Goddard School and Dan's Auto Repair postponed their scheduled appearances before the Upper Macungie Planning Board last Wednesday.

The Goddard School and Dan's Auto Repair both postponed showing resubmissions of their proposed development plans to the Upper Macungie Planning Commission last Wednesday.

The Goddard School, a preschool facility, plans to open a location at 8236 Hamilton Blvd. in Breinigsville.

According to township records, the company plans to develop a 1.9482-acre parcel of land. The proposed child-care facility would be a 13,219-square-foot building with 52 parking spaces.

The property is in a medium low density residential zoned area. A child-care facility is a permitted use in the area, provided that it is served by an arterial road, which in this instance, it is.

Dan's Auto Repair, located at 5204 Tilghman St., will also need to return to the commission to re-submit land development plans.
