Edward Earley Likely to Seek Re-Election to Upper Macungie Board of Supervisors

Edward Earley, the current chairman of the Upper Macungie Board of Supervisors, says he'll likely seek another six-year term.

Upper Macungie Board of Supervisors Chairman Edward Earley said this week that he'll likely seek another six-year term on the board.

Earley said he was first appointed as an Upper Macungie Township Supervisor in 2002 to fill a vacancy. He was elected to a four-year term in 2004, and in 2008, he was re-elected to a six-year term.

"I enjoy it," he said. "We'll see if we can give it another shot." 

Earley is an Upper Macungie resident and a retired Kutztown University professor.

Earley also chaired the Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Commission.
