Detour Through Trexlertown Starts March 1

Bridge replacement project may cause travel delays through Trexlertown

Work will start Thursday, March 1 to replace Spring Creek Road bridge over Spring Creek in Lower Macungie Township, according to PennDOT.

Spring Creek Road will be closed and detoured between Trexlertown Road and Red Oak Road. Traffic will be detoured onto Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Road, Hamilton Boulevard and Trexlertown Road.

Allow extra time when travelling through that area. Spring Creek Road's average daily traffic is more than 5,600 vehicles.
