Woman Injured in Route 222 Crash
Police say woman hospitalized with minor injuries following two-vehicle crash at Route 222 and Grim Road.
Upper Macungie police say a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning on Route 222 sent a woman to the hospital.
According to police, the accident happened at 6:43 a.m. near the intersection of Grim Road. Police Cristina Estrada, 47, was trying to make a left turn onto Grim when she was hit by a pick-up truck driven by Eric Mink, 43.
Estrada was hospitalized with minor injuries. Mink was unhurt. Both vehicles needed to be towed by Getz Towing, police said.
