Woman Injured in Accident on Schantz Road

The following information was supplied by Upper Macungie police.

 

A Macungie woman was injured Sunday in a one-vehicle crash in the 5100 block of Schantz Road.

Upper Macungie police said Sarah Erb suffered minor injuries in the crash, which happened at 4:25 p.m., and was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

According to police, Erb lost control of her vehicle while rounding a curve. The vehicle went into a field, rolling over several times.

* No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash at 3:39 p.m. Sunday at Schantz and Grim roads. Jean Alony Dumay, of Brooklyn, N.Y., went off the roadway on Schantz, with the vehicle striking several signs and a traffic light pole, police said.

* No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash at 5 p.m. Saturday in the 7200 block of Cetronia Road. Lisa Godshall of Doylestown was rounding a curve when her vehicle slid on a snow-covered roadway and into a fence, police said.

* The driver of a sport utility vehicle was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment of minor abrasions and left arm pain following a two-vehicle accident at 4:02 p.m. Saturday on snow-covered Route 100, north of Tilghman Street. The SUV driver lost control in the right lane and slid into the left lane, colliding with a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation work truck, police said.
